Jina Virtue is a career educator who brings over 30 years of professional skills as a trainer to NCRC. Her degrees include a master’s degree in Educational Administration and Tier 1 &2 Administrative Services Credentials. She has served as a state and local trainer for educational policies and initiatives, and coauthored policy documents related to textbook adoption, curriculum design, and literacy intervention. In addition to teaching, her professional roles have included Secondary Literacy Coordinator, Response to Intervention Coordinator, University Mentor Teacher, and Literacy Coach. She is also trained as a crises/trauma support provider. As a member of the NCRC training team, Jina specializes in conflict resolution, effective communication and Bystander intervention curriculum.
