Jeffrey Isaacs joined the San Diego law firm of Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves & Savitch in 1968. Jeff was made a partner of the firm in 1972 and continued at the firm for over 46 years until his retirement in January 2015. During his career at Procopio, Jeff was the leader of Procopio's insolvency team and specialized in bankruptcy law, creditor-debtor rights and commercial litigation. Jeff had the privilege of representing trustees, debtors, creditors and creditors' committees in some of the largest, most complex and most contentious cases in San Diego and elsewhere. This broad experience provided Jeff with the widest possible exposure and insight as to what can go wrong in virtually every type of business and why and, perhaps more importantly, how to effectively navigate the strong and often highly stressed personalities of the individuals involved. In this regard, Jeff served with distinction on the San Diego Bankruptcy Court Mediation Panel for over 25 years where he was selected as Mediator of the Year by the judges of the court in 2007.
