Chris Hulburt brings 27 years of experience as a litigator and trial lawyer in all types of personal injury and wrongful death cases. He has handled complex and simple cases including car crashes, premises liability, medical malpractice and medical devices, nursing homes and elder abuse, products liability, government torts, dangerous roadways, construction accidents, electrocutions, dog bites, legal malpractice, sexual assault, physical abuse, and more. As a litigator he has successfully resolved hundreds of cases by settlement, arbitration, or trial, with results from $8,000 to $8,000,000 and with combined results totaling over $120,000,000. He is a popular teacher at the law school and continuing education seminars. Superior Court Ordered Civil Mediations:

  • Civil Limited: $150 per hour for each of the first two hours and $450 per hour thereafter.
  • Civil Unlimited: $250 per hour for each of the first two hours and $450 per hour thereafter.

All Other:
$1,600 half-day, $450 per hour thereafter
$3,200 full-day

Hobbies & Interests: 

Hulburt is an ordained minister, a permanent deacon in the Catholic Church. He serves at St. Brigid Church in Pacific Beach, where he is a frequent teacher, counselor, small group facilitator, mentor and retreat leader. He works with the homeless, facilitates a bereavement ministry, and works with couples in preparation for marriage.
