Throughout history communities have come together in circles, to commune and communicate, to support one another, and to celebrate life's greatest moments. In circles we have sought and created solutions, and have shared our deepest feelings and hardest challenges.
As we move into the holiday season, we acknowledge the additional stress many people face. Gatherings of family and friends can be joyful, and can also provide opportunities for conflict due to divergent beliefs and miscommunication.
Joining a Community Restorative Circle helps you build skills in managing difficult conversations, empathizing and listening, and have more productive communication in all areas of life. Better communication skills will help you experience better relationships with the people you love.
You are invited to join a Community Restorative Circle
to share your unique perspective
to strengthen bonds in your community
to help find solutions to community challenges
to engage in productive, non-argumentative dialogue
The next Community Restorative Circle is Saturday, December 9th, 10am, 4305 University Avenue, City Heights Center.
Our topic of discussion will be Coping with the News Cycle: Discussing How We Care for Ourselves in Times of Uncertainty
