Come to beautiful San Diego in February, 2009 for the National Conflict Resolution Center’s unique curriculum of 60 hours of professional mediation training, skill development, and feedback.

TWO WEEKS (Participants may enroll for one or both weeks of the Institute.)

Week One: INTRODUCTORY
Mediation Skills Training
February 10-13 (32 Hours)

An intensive course that teaches NCRC’s classic six stage facilitative mediation process through a series of lectures, interactive exercises, and participatory simulations.

With an outstanding faculty comprised of world renowned authors, mediators and trainers, students are sure to have a rewarding and memorable experience

Week Two: ADVANCED
Mediation Skills Training
February 16-19 (28 Hours)

This interactive course builds on skills learned in the Introductory Mediation Skills Training and introduces new techniques and supervised one-on-one skills development.

Addresses impasse, ethical dilemmas, multiple parties and individuals with high conflict personalities
Videotaped simulation and critique
Adaptation of the facilitative model to more evaluative settings
Applies towards NCRC Mediator Credential curriculum (2 mediations)
