  1. Total program fee: $3,700.
  2. You MUST first submit your completed SDSU-CES application and the SDSU fees to Amber Rich at SDSU-CES (619-594-7250), arich@mail.sdsu.edu.
  3. An additional non-refundable $830 deposit is due to NCRC after your application has been approved by SDSU-CES. The $830 deposit will be applied to the Total Program Fee and reserves a spot for you for The Summer Institute in Rimini, Italy.
  4. A final installment of $2000 is due to NCRC on or before Friday, April 20, 2011.
  5. Final acceptance into the program is predicated on the timely submission of all fees (both SDSU fees and NCRC fees).

  • 45-hour Mediation Skills Training
  • 3 units of SDSU resident credit
  • Certificates of completion from NCRC & the University of Bologna-Rimini

  • 13 nights, 14 days (light breakfast included)

Refund Guidelines
Participants who need to cancel must do so in writing to the National Conflict Resolution Center and are effective as per postmark date. A cancellation fee will be deducted from the funds collected as follows:

Received on or before April 20, 2012.....................................................25% cancellation fee
Received between April 24 - May 8, 2011..............................................50% cancellation fee
Received between May 9 - May 16, 2011...............................................75% cancellation fee
On or after May 17, 2011...........................................................................NO REFUND

Final acceptance into the program is predicated on the timely submission of the application, payment of all fees, approval of your proposed course of study, and submission of all required documents.

Disclosures

  • Not included in the fee: Out of pocket expenses such as, but not limited to, airfare, lunches, dinners (except for Welcome & Farewell dinner), transportation to and from the hotel, transportation to and from the airport/train station, hotel room services, water sports equipment, Getting to Yes by William Ury (required book for undergraduate and graduate students).
  • You must have medical/accident insurance that will cover the expenses of serious illness or accident, as well as accidental death and dismemberment coverage, emergency evacuation, and repatriation of remains. NCRC is not responsible for students who do not have medical/accident insurance.

Risk and Waiver of Liability

Participation in an international program that requires air and/or ground travel, as well as field trips, involve risks which may result in damage to property, injury to persons, and death. All participants will be required to sign the NCRC Program Agreement acknowledging these risks and releasing the National Conflict Resolution Center (NCRC) and its employees of liability.
