Faculty Bios

Luca Dal PubelLuca Dal Pubel, NCRC ADR Specialist & Accredited Mediator at Ministry of Justice, Italy, MA Class of 2010
Mr. Dal Pubel has a Law Degree from the University of Bologna specializing in conflict resolution. He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Negotiation, Conflict Resolution and Peacebuilding at California State University-Dominguez Hills. He has worked as a Program Coordinator with NCRC since 2004. Mr. Dal Pubel has been proactive in developing ADR programs throughout Italy. Through Mr. Dal Pubel’s efforts, NCRC has become an affiliate of Resolutia, an Italian mediation firm. Additionally, he is an accredited mediator for Resolutia through the Ministry of Justice in Italy and has been on the panel of the Chamber of Arbitration of Venice since 2002.

SteveDinkinSteven Dinkin, President, NCRC & Trainer
Mr. Dinkin earned his J.D. from George Washington University Law School. He has directed NCRC since 2003.  Before coming to NCRC, Mr. Dinkin was an Adjunct Law Professor at George Washington University where he taught a mediation clinic; President of the D.C. Chapter of the Association for Conflict Resolution; and, Chair of the D.C. Bar Litigation Section, Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee.  He currently serves on the board of the California Dispute Resolution Council.

Nicola SoldatiIrka Fuerle, Lawyer & Accredited Mediator at the State Bar of Lower Saxony, Germany
Ms. Fuerle received her Law Degree at the University of Jena, Germany and a certification as business mediator from the University of Munich, Germany. She is an accredited mediator through the State Bar of Lower Saxony in Germany and works with the panel of mediators at the Mediation Program of Lower Saxony, a pilot project for court-based mediation in Germany. Ms. Fuerle is CEO of conflict+culture, an intercultural negotiation and mediation firm based in Hanover, Germany. Moreover, she is a member of the trainer faculty of the European Law Student Association and member of the Intercultural Trainer Network.

Allen GrebProf. Allen Greb, PhD SDSU ISCOR  Professor & Advisor
Since 2002, Prof. Greb has been the undergraduate advisor and coordinator of the International Security and Conflict Resolution (ISCOR) Program at San Diego State University. He also teaches courses for the Program and Political Science. Prior to coming to SDSU, he served as the American coordinator of the international Nuclear History Program, with US headquarters at the University of Maryland and offices in Britain, France, and Germany.

Lisa Maxwell Lisa Maxwell, Senior NCRC Trainer & SDSU ISCOR Professor
Ms. Maxwell has been a mediator since 1985 and is currently a Senior Trainer with the National Conflict Resolution Center.  She has extensive experience working with large groups, business issues, interpersonal disputes, and complex issues. She has designed and implemented courses in English and Spanish locally and internationally.  She has taught an ADR course in the ISCOR program since 2000. She also teaches at Southwestern College and Thomas Jefferson School of Law.

Lisa Maxwell Clair Noel , is the Program Manager for the Training Institute of the National Conflict Resolution Center. She graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Security and Conflict Resolution with an emphasis on Conflict, Cooperation and Conflict Resolution in 2006.

An important part of Ms. Noel’s life is her experience in multi-cultural environments. She was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. Fluent in Tagalog, she also understands and speaks conversational Spanish. While in college, she traveled to New Zealand where she learned more about the country’s culture and history. Additionally, Ms. Noel’s year-long internship was with the International Rescue Committee where she worked with immigrants and refugees.

Maurizio Di RoccoMaurizio Di Rocco, Esq. , Lawyer & Accredited Adr Trainer Ministry of Justice, Italy
Mr. Di Rocco received his Law Degree at the University of Padua, Italy and has been practicing law for 10 years.  Since 2000 he has been a charter member and Vice President of Resolutia mediation firm. He is an accredited mediator and ADR Trainer through the Ministry of Justice in Italy . Mr. Rocco has an active mediation practice in Venice and frequently provides mediation training for attorneys and Chambers of Commerce throughout Italy.

Nicola SoldatiDr. Nicola Soldati, Professor of Corporate Law, University of Bolognia, Rimini
Prof. Soldati received his Law Degree at the University of Modena, Italy and has been practicing law for 13 years. He is a Professor of Commercial Law; Bankruptcy Law; International Commercial Law; Commercial Law – Corporate Governance at the University of Bologna. He is an accredited mediator and ADR Trainer through the Ministry of Justice in Italy. Prof. Soldati has an active mediation practice in Modena and frequently provides mediation training for attorneys and Chambers of Commerce throughout Italy. He published many books and papers on ADR.
