Parent-Teen Mediation

Conflict between parents and teens is normal. Sometimes, however, family issues can become more troubling than the usual parent/teen angst. When communication and discussion reach an impasse, emotions can become dominated by resentment, rejection, and even rage that can lead to violence. Parent/Teen mediation is a good first step to getting families talking and working together.

Both parents and teens have the opportunity to hear and be heard. The mediator assists each of them with framing questions, seeking answers, and then arriving at reasonable and workable solutions. To date, our Parent/Teen mediations have an 80% agreement rate, proving that mediation works.

Families often find themselves in a struggle as they try to help a loved one in a time of need. Mediation is an excellent option for you and your family, including the loved one in need of assistance, to ask the hard questions, explore the care options together, and arrive at solutions that best suit your loved one’s and your family’s needs. You can use mediation to find solutions to the difficulties of caring for your mother, father, brother, sister, wife, husband, son, or other loved one. Our Eldercare Panel Mediators each have over forty hours of specialized training to assist you, and your family, with the challenging issues of elder care.
